Often we notice hair problems only when it is too late. Yet there are some simple and easy tips that take no time but deliver superb results, says our hairstylist Lyuben Nikolov.

Remember his tips! If you follow them, you will surely enjoy healthy hair for a longer time:

1. If you wash your hair too often.

You will strip away many of the beneficial substances that nourish the scalp. The normal interval is at least 3 days. If your scalp gets oily more often, then use gentle products suitable for everyday use, but over time try to space out your washes. Because the more often you wash, the more you stimulate the scalp to produce sebum.

2. When wet or damp, hair is more fragile.

Rubbing it with a towel or combing it with a fine-tooth comb will damage it. To protect it from breakage, after a shower use a wide brush and dry it gently and carefully.

3. Do not expose your hair to the sun for too long.

If possible, do not expose it at all! UV rays affect the hair just as they affect the skin, with the difference that the consequences are noticed later. Spring is the time when you should take care of your hair and protect it with a scarf or a hat.

4. Nourish your hair not only with products for external use.

But also through the food you eat. In spring it is especially important to take additional supplements and vitamins for hair.

5. Do not overdo it with the blow dryer!

Although the new devices are gentle, their everyday use is not particularly good for the hair, which becomes dehydrated and loses its shine. Use heat-protection sprays.

6. Trim more often in the seasons when your body usually suffers from a lack of vitamins, such as spring.

Seasonal fatigue and stress also affect the hair negatively. Frequent trimming of the ends will energize it.

7. If you usually wear your hair tied up.

Give it a break from ponytails. Your hair also needs to "breathe".

8. Massage the scalp once a day - for about a minute or two.

This stimulates blood circulation and supports the growth of healthy hair.
